  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced Project Cost Analyst for a Bayport, Texas location. 


    Authorization to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship required.

    Must live within a reasonable commute to Clear Lake, no relocation package is available.


    You will be responsible for supporting a group of professionals in an active chemical manufacturing plant as part of that capital projects group.



    • Monitor forecast and actual project spending
    • Update weekly actuals for project spending, scheduling, and deliverables
    • Responsible for preparing reports for the project
    • Set up project components in SAP
    • Manage the transfer and integrity of project documentation
    • Take reasonable care of your own health & safety and of others who may be affected by you
    • Co-operate with Wood’s and client’s HSSE requirements by following all relevant health and safety policies and practice safe work habits
    • Implement established procedures to ensure compliance to Quality and HSSE requirements

    • 5+ years’ experience working as a Project Analyst, preferably in the chemical manufacturing industry
    • Safety focused
    • Organized and efficient
    • Proactive in helping to improve the work processes of the position and the department
    • Should feel comfortable working in a team environment to collectively achieve the objectives of the department
    • Practical applied experience in capital project execution
    • Solid knowledge and experience in the use of spreadsheets
    • Experience using SAP purchasing and project builder desirable
    • Good experience and skill set in the use of Microsoft’s suite of office products
