  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood is currently looking for a Reporting Accountant and Analyst based out of our Corporate Office in Springboro, Ohio.

    ** US Only- Authorization to work permanently in the US without sponsorship required.

    Reports to:  Controller

    Supervises:  None at this time

    Reason for Position:

    This role will be vital to the success of the corporation through support of the accounting department.  With the growth of the corporation, this role will provide the analytics and reporting needed to manage short-term and long-term results along with the day-to-day operations of the Company.  They will provide information needed for corporate reports from various departments. They will provide analytics of equipment and labor utilization.

    Job Duties:

    1. Create and maintain reports to include Accounting, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Equipment utilization and any other ad hoc requests.
    2. Work with Equipment, Operations and Finance teams to provide analysis and make recommendations.
    3. Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statement reports including cost to complete reports.
    4. Create and maintain reforecasts and budgets.
    5. Provide variance analysis.
    6. Assist auditors with data and report requests.
    7. Assist in month and year end closing and annual audit.

    Skills / Qualifications

     

    Job Requirements:

    1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar field.
    2. Preferred 5-7 years of experience in Accounting.
    3. Preferred 3-5 years of Finance reporting and analytics.
    4. Minimum 2 years of Construction reporting and analytics.
    5. Excellent computer skills to include SQL and Excel.
    6. Detail oriented.
    7. Able to work on multiple tasks at the same time.
    8. Ability to work independently and as a team.
    9. Strong communication skills.
