  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. (Wood) is currently seeking an Engineering Technician in our St. Louis office.


    Key Responsibilities


    • Production of CAD (Computer Aided Design) Drawings
    • Field visits and site visits
    • Assist with site surveys and inspections
    • Produces routine plans
    • Preparation of calculations
    • Contributing to providing solutions to design problems
    • Drafting of topographic surveys from survey field data
    • Preparation of property boundary surveys

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Associates Degree in an engineering discipline, or related technical certification
    • 4+ years of related experience
    • MicroStation, InRoads, GeoPak and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D design experience desirable
    • Good numerical/math skills
    • Good literacy and ability to write reports
    • Adaptable and persevering
    • Able to produce neat and accurate technical drawings
    • Works well with other people
    • Good communication skills within a team and externally
    • Safety conscious
    • Must pass drug test, physical, and background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR) policy
