  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood Automation and Controls is currently recruiting for an Engineering Clerk with CAD experience (preferred) at our CEC Controls location in Chesterton Indiana. This is an opportunity to work with a global organization in an industry-leading position and to be involved in projects both locally, and around the world. We are seeking a dynamic individual, who is motivated and ambitious.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Copy and file Engineering documents
    • Create and print EBM documents from satellite offices
    • Order and stock Supplies
    • Pickup and deliver field material
    • Review requests with Engineering Supervisor to determine priorities
    • AutoCAD plotting and printing
    • Markup existing CAD Drawings as needed

    Skills / Qualifications

    • High School diploma and basic computer courses
    • 1-2 years of CAD  experience 
    • 3 years of experience in a controls related AutoCAD drafting environment
    • Ability to travel as needed
    • U.S. Only: Authorization to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship required
