    Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions has an outstanding key leadership opportunity with our Houston, TX team. This individual will be a key contributor to the growth of our midstream permitting business in the Gulf Coast area and throughout the U.S. Key markets targeted for growth include Midstream Oil and Gas.

     

    Key Responsibilities

     

    • Manage environmental impact assessment and permitting projects for key midstream clients
    • Develop, lead and manage a large diverse team of permitting professionals
    • Manage technical, budgetary, and schedule performance to achieve client satisfaction and generate repeat business
    • Lead business development efforts with key clients, including directly with clients, proposals, and presentations
    • Lead in the implementation of our overall strategy and plan to expand our environmental impact assessment and permitting business in this market sector
    • Typical services provided include FERC Certification, NEPA compliance, USACE permitting, Endangered Species Act compliance, National Historic Preservation Act compliance, and other similar Federal, State, and local permitting and compliance

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a relevant field required
    • Minimum 15+ years of experience
    • Technical background in large Midstream pipeline permitting programs involving the services described above
    • Experience in managing large and complex projects is important, as is experience in leading and managing teams
    • Experience in completing business development with key clients is critical, including establishing and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying and positioning for key opportunities, and leading proposals and presentations
    • Must pass drug test, background check, and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR) policy
