  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood  is currently seeking two Junior Civil Engineers to join our team in Tucker, GA or Greenville, SC.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare construction documents such as drawings, specifications, etc. as related to the civil site and infrastructure using Civil3D
    • Primary function will be Civil design work for large-scale industrial projects for both EPC and Engineer Consulting contracts
    • Client interface may be expected

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Qualified candidate must have a Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering
    • An EIT and interested in pursuing a professional registration
    • He/she must be interested in the design of grading, drainage, hydrology, pavements, and underground utilities with 0 to 3 years of design experience
    • Experience in railroad, lift stations, heavy industrial projects such, as pulp & paper, power, cement, food process, specialty chemical, etc. is a plus; however, commercial and family housing development experience is very applicable
    • The candidate must have demonstrated leadership skills
