    Title:  Accounting Manager

    ** US Only- Authorization to work permanently in the US without sponsorship required.

                    Location:  Corporate Office, Springboro, Ohio

    Reports to:  Senior Finance Manager

    Supervises:  Staff Accountant, Accounts Payable and Payroll Departments, Office Administrator

    Job Summary:

    The Accounting Manager is responsible for maximizing the return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls and reporting systems for all accounting and financial reporting functions and for overseeing cost and general accounting, accounts payable/ receivable/collections, business analysis, and payroll.

    Job Duties:

    1. Serves as a leader that builds, develops, and maintains a culture of high performance to ensure the integrity of financial processes and systems.
    2. Plans, directs, coordinates financial period close.
    3. Establishes and maintains systems and controls which verify the integrity of all systems, processes, and data.
    4. Prepares and directs audits as required, reviews and distributes findings, ensuring that root causes of findings are understood and that appropriate action plans are put into place to correct unsatisfactory results.
    5. Manage various department personnel including Staff Accountant, Accounts Payable and Payroll teams, Office Admin.
    6. Advises management and operational personnel on accounting developments and financial position.
    7. Prepare and review ledger entries, reconciliations, and workpapers.
    8. Oversee Accounts Receivable and coordination of collection efforts.
    9. Manage treasury including bank accounts, cash disbursements, and employee purchasing card program.

    Skills / Qualifications


    Job Requirements:

    1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar field.
    2. CPA preferred
    3. 5-7 years of experience in Accounting with a mix of Public and Industry.
    4. Minimum 2 years of Construction.
    5. Systems experience- preferably Vista by Viewpoint, Oracle
    6. Proficient user of Excel.
    7. Detail oriented.
    8. Able to work on multiple tasks at the same time.
    9. Ability to lead team members and coordinate process improvement.
    10. Strong communication skills.
