  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions is seeking an Entry Level Laboratory Technician to join our Salt Lake City, Utah team to support construction materials laboratory testing for mining, transportation and commercial/industrial construction projects.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Will perform soil, concrete, asphalt and geosynthetic liner material laboratory testing
    • Operate standard construction materials laboratory testing equipment
    • Perform analysis or calculations to check accuracy of test data
    • Data input for report preparation and submittal to clients
    • Field technician dispatch

    Skills / Qualifications

    Role Requirements:

    • Ability to prepare reports and documentation
    • Strong computer skills
    • Current valid driver’s license and insurability
    • Must pass drug test, background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR) policy

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Proficient in basic mathematics
    • Good writing skills

    Physical Demands:

    • Ability to lift 50 pounds
    • Will routinely lift and carry materials and equipment
