    Wood Subsea and Export Systems is currently recruiting for a Graduate Graphics Designer to join our Design and Drafting Team in Houston, Texas (Energy Corridor)

    This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team that support a variety of clients, projects, and internal business partners by providing state-of-the art, high quality 3D visualizations, interactive digital environments, and 3D models.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Create technical animations in 3DS – Rig and morph splines and meshes
    • Create 3D models based on supplied drawings, photos, data books, etc.
    • Assemble 3D environments
    • Optimize existing 3D models
    • Participate in project meetings and workshops
    • Provide input to continuous improvement initiatives
    • Support graphics team in raising awareness for the wider adoption of graphics, VR/AR technology

    Skills / Qualifications


    • An Associates or Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, Digital Media or Game Design degree
    • At least 2 years of working knowledge of 3DS Max
    • At least 2 years of working knowledge of Photoshop
    • A keen interest in engineering, technology and data
    • Capable of learning new software, processes and procedures as projects require.
    • Highly organized and able to meet deadlines in a timely manner
    • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office


    • Knowledge of Unity
    • Knowledge of V-Ray
    • Experience with Java and JavaScript
