  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer for our Greenville, SC office.

    Responsibilities:

    • The Mechanical Equipment Engineer will be responsible for the design, coordination, and procurement of process equipment for capital projects in the chemical and industrial markets.
    • Duties also include developing design criteria and specifications for static, rotating, material handling, and heat transfer equipment. Also, development of P&IDs, calculations, equipment layouts, construction and engineering estimates, inter-discipline coordination and vendor coordination. 
    • The Mechanical Equipment Engineer will lead the Mechanical effort on projects and possibly supervise other engineers and designers.

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Entry Level     
    • BS in Mechanical Engineering required
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word & Excel) is required
