Wood is currently recruiting for a team of Construction Pipefitters for a TAR (turnaround) in Equatorial Guinea, West Africa.
The start date for this TAR around 13 March 2019 for a 2-3-week duration.
Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading
Grind parts, torque bolts and operate mechanical and manual cutting equipment
Secure pipes to structure with bracket, clamps, and hangers, using hand tools and power tools
Assemble and install variety of metal and nonmetal pipes including Bondstrand
The ability to operate hydraulic bolt torqueing equipment and experience with manual rigging techniques with chain falls and coma-a-longs
Candidates should be fully qualified Fitter \ Pipefitters with a high level of experience working in the oil and gas industry.
Previous TAR or shutdown experience is preferred.
