Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions is currently seeking an entry-level Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and participate in growing a geotechnical engineering design practice along the Gulf Coast for a wide variety of geotechnical-related projects. These projects will generally include the design of: embankment dams, levees, above ground reservoirs, pump stations, and other flood control facilities; mining, commercial, and industrial facilities; and transportation facilities. The successful candidate will work under the close and direct supervision of senior geotechnical engineers to provide remote technical support to other Wood offices. A larger portion of these geotechnical projects are located along the U.S. Gulf Coast from Texas to Florida and will require some travel. The candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with local Wood personnel and other Engineers located throughout the company.
