  • Overview / Responsibilities


    • Sets vision, strategy & action plan for talent management and development congruent with the broader Wood organization that encompasses talent review and succession planning, leadership development, performance management, coaching and mentoring, career management, change management and team alignment
    • Consults with and ensure effective engagement of business stakeholders on development initiatives. Partnering with and serving the P&O leaders is essential
    • Provides direction to and development of a team of central and operations based talent management and learning & development professionals to deliver accelerated employee development and engagement
    • Key member of and contributor to the ASA P&O Leadership Team
    • Contributes to the global direction and production of talent management and development strategies, policies, processes, systems and tools
    • Prepares and manages a budget


    • Provides expert advice and guidance to senior business and P&O leaders on talent management, learning and development, change management and team alignment
    • Delivers services through partnerships with P&O leaders and their teams of manager-facing Business Partners
    • Works with Resourcing for strategic external hires identified through talent management processes

    Performance Management, Career Planning, & Development

    • Facilitates processes to manage and improve employee performance, to plan career progression, and to develop and grow
    • Designs tools and processes in conjunction with other subject matter experts and in congruence with global frameworks
    • Leads implementation of any tools or processes

    Talent & Successors

    • Facilitates identification, review, and confirmation processes for successors, high potentials, and critical talent
    • Designs tools and processes in conjunction with other subject matter experts and in congruence with global frameworks
    • Leads implementation of any tools or processes 
    • Leads process of identification of future critical talent

    Leadership Development

    • Analyzes needs
    • Advises on and facilitates the use of diagnostic instruments
    • Assures development plans are in place, operating and effective for select cohort of talent and successors
    • Solicits and prepares nominations to Wood programs
    • Manages regional delivery of global programs

    Coaching and Mentoring

    • Assess what types of programs are needed
    • Provides toolkits, resources, expert advice, and programming

    Engagement Surveys & Responses

    • Facilitate any global process or surveying and responding for Asset Solutions Americas 


    • Designs and implements talent management and development-related systems alongside global teams

    Vendor Management

    • Maintains preferred supplier contact and contracts

    Change Management

    • Recognizes and identifies areas where change management is needed
    • Provides expert advice, resources, or hands-on change management services

    Team Alignment

    • Recognizes and identifies areas where team alignment is needed
    • Provides expert advice, resources or hands on team alignment services

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Understands how the business delivers value to shareholders, what drives profitability, and what increases growth
    • Excellent people management including leadership, influencing, coaching, and performance management
    • Able to build, motivate, develop and manage an effective team
    • Advanced consulting skills, with strong ability to build relationships, collaborate and influence a network of stakeholders in a matrix organization
    • Excellent management and project management skills including the ability to plan, set goals, and manage time, priorities, resources, accountabilities, schedules and cost
    • A person of integrity who is trusted by others and consistently honors their commitments
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to convey information and ideas to individuals and groups
    • Able to work on multiple projects of various size and complexity
    • Systems – Has been a super-user or implementer of a talent management system
    • Resource network – Has established network of capable vendors particularly in the areas of coaching, team alignment, assessment and leadership development
    • Instructional design – Demonstrated success in designing learning programs for technical, interpersonal and leadership skills
    • Instruments and Assessments - Experience with using multiple diagnostic instruments; certification in instruments preferred
    • Facilitation, training and presentation skills – Deep experience in facilitating learning sessions, workshops or team alignment events, teaching courses, and making presentations to large groups of professionals and managers
    • Master’s degree in related disciplines such as business management, human resources, or organizational psychology
    • 10+ years’ relevant experience including experience leading a team
    • Experience in EPC/CM or operations & maintenance services industries preferred

    Authorization to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship required.
