    Wood currently has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager for our engineering consulting projects in our Minneapolis office. As a Project Manager at Wood, you will help drive business growth by securing opportunities brought to the office by Business Development, delighting the customer with flawless execution, and delivering predictable financial outcomes. The successful candidate will lead a multi-discipline engineering team to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible with customer requirements and professional standards.     Key Responsibilities

    • Overseeing the development of project prospects, proposals, budgets, schedules and reports
    • Managing project staff and sub-contractors to ensure safe, cost effective, efficient and timely completion of projects to meet and/or exceed client expectations
    • Developing plans, designs, and studies that meet the customer’s needs and comply with all applicable regulations
    • Developing and maintaining communication channels with new and existing clients, stake holders, and internal Wood personnel to ensure that work flows smoothly
    • Mentoring and training Wood personnel to groom individuals as well as complete project teams to become better prepared to take on additional roles and responsibilities
    • Gathering up-to-date information first-hand at sites, meeting with clients and constantly monitoring work performances

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Engineering from a recognized university
    • More than 10 years engineering or operations experience with food/beverage or industrial process projects including at least 3 years increasing responsibility as a project manager
    • Extensive experience in food/beverage and facilities infrastructure is favorable
    • Desire to and a successful history in developing new prospects and grow opportunities with existing and new clients
    • Ability to grasp and communicate all aspects of the projects being managed to customers and internal stakeholders
    • A willingness to travel, both domestic and internationally, for varying durations and at times to remote locations - Travel is not expected to exceed 30%
    • Completion of a diploma or degree in a certified project management program is considered an asset
