  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood's Northwestern operation is experiencing treamendous growth; with this progressive demand we are increasing headcount daily. To help support this growth, we are seeking a Technical Recruiter who will be the driving force behind our recruitment efforts in this region. The Ideal candidate will have a proven tool kit coupled with advanced skills in recruiting onshore Oil & Gas professionals primarily operating in the Northwestern U.S. 


    Essential Job Functions: 

    • Strategize, coordinate and follow up on all recruitment activities for our Onshore Operations & Maintenance business in the Northwestern United States
    • Build and maintain strong working relationships with line managers
    • Establish and maintain successful relationships with recruiting partners, colleges, community partners, professional associations, and other organizations that provide recruitment value
    • Coordinate and attend recruitment events including job fairs, conferences, meetings, etc... effectively provide information about our organization to interested attendees
    • Assess the community demographics and create a candidate pipeline that meets diversity hiring initiatives
    • Maintain a solid understanding / knowledge of Wood's culture
    • Conduct weekly requisition hiring activity audits to ensure complete & timely documentation
    • Monitor & maintain integrity of requisitions on Applicant Tracking System to ensure the recruitment activity is accurately reported
    • Provide day to day support regarding the recruiting process and Applicant Tracking System
    • Ensure delivery of recruitment services such as job postings, candidate screenings, salary negotiation, etc...
    • Partner with Human Resources and Hiring Managers to understand requirements of positions within the area/region/business line and provide innovative solutions for sourcing candidates

     Skills Requirements:

    • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Able to develop strong, trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results
    • Self-directed and motivated 

    Education and Experience Requirements: 


    5 + years of recruiting experience in Oil & Gas and/or EPC environment, including proactive/passive sourcing, corporate recruiting or agency/executive search recruiting experience is required.


    Physical Requirements:


    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk and sit. May require close vision work and travel.
