    Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. (Wood) has a career opportunity for a Site Civil Engineer. The ideal candidate is an experienced seller/doer and project manager who is an energetic, self-motivated professional with proven experience in engineering design as well as construction document preparation related to site civil work, with heavy emphasis on commercial and industrial markets in urbanized areas. We have a talented staff and work in a friendly, flexible, positive, collaborative environment.


    Key Responsibilities


    This seller/doer position demands a proven ability to develop business and manage/deliver projects in a team environment. Engineering efforts include drawing and specification production of site/civil work including grading and earthwork, storm drain systems, sanitary sewer systems, water systems, utility coordination, access roads, site permitting, and other site related tasks; plus design calculations, quantity take-offs, and estimating. The position also requires effective business development skills and knowledge, and demands existing working relationships and contacts with architectural and land development firms in the local commercial/industrial and multi-family markets.

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
    • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
    • Arizona PE license
    • Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD design software, particularly Civil 3D platform
    • Applicant must possess strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills, and have the ability to work on multiple, unique assignments simultaneously
    • Applicant must possess excellent, clear and concise, verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to coordinate meetings, conduct effective client presentations and prepare written reports
    • Must work well in team environment, with ability and knowledge to direct other work trades related to site civil projects such as environmental clearances, surveying, and geotechnical investigations
    • Must pass drug test and background check
