  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood is currently recruiting for an Assistant Estimator for our Nashville,TN location. This person will assists Estimators with quantity takeoffs and solicits vendor and supplier quotes.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Attends Estimating meetings on a weekly basis.
    • Updates jobs bidding and jobs awarded in software system.
    • Downloads and prints plans and specifications for Estimator.
    • Uses Agtek software for dirt takeoffs.
    • Calls vendors and assists with pricing for bidding projects.
    • Assists Estimators with other duties as needed in preparing estimates and bids.

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
