  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood is currently recruiting for a Pipeline Integrity Engineer, for our office in Houston , TX.  This is a with the responsibility of supporting  technical area of Pipeline Integrity / metallurgy for engineering projects and acting as interface with internal and external clients on onshore pipeline projects.  



    • Interface with the client and subcontractors and coordinate activities related to pipeline integrity management
    • To execute diverse type  projects related to Pipeline Integrity management, material selection, welding  of pipelines and onshore facilities
    • Make sure that all of the activities and schedules are carried out with no delays and always making sure that safety is always a priority
    • Act as technical consultant for new design pipelines in the areas of pipeline integrity to support on existing facilities and new designs.
    • Responsible for planning, design, and execution of pipeline integrity projects  for onshore pipeline transporting liquid and gas.

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Bachelor of Engineering on any of the areas: Materials, Metallurgy, Chemistry, Mechanical
    • More than 7 years of experience on engineering projects on technical areas related to Pipeline integrity, material selection, metallurgy/welding.
    • Experience on Pipeline integrity projects for onshore pipelines and facilities
    • Familiar with  DOT regulations 192 and 195  for pipelines.
