  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood is currently recruiting for a Business Support Assistant with experience working with a diverse group of people and projects in the oil and gas petrochemical industry.

     

    U.S. Only: Authorization to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship required.

     

    This position will report into the Technology and Consulting Coordinator

    In this role, the Assistant would provide direct project support related to:

    • Proposal Process Support
    • Project Reporting & Deliverable Preparation
    • Project Support (i.e. setting up meetings, minute taking, action tracker updates, etc.)
    • PowerPoint presentation preparation and coordination

    In addition to the above, there will likely be additional tasks to support the Regional Management Team (RMT) Leads in the following:

    • Meeting Room Bookings & Follow Up Activities
    • Follow up on Open IT Tickets/Issues
    • New Hire Onboarding Support
    • Internal and External Purchase order eBinder Upkeep
    • New Hire - Interview meet/greet and set up
    • Ad-hoc help with various initiatives (including Client Presentations)

     

    This position is expected to have direct client interaction when needed by the RMT or for specific projects, as needed.

     

    Skills / Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • 2+ years experience in office environment
    • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Viso)
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • The ability to coordinate and communicate effectively within a high performing, cohesive team environment where projects and clients are geographically disperse
