  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions has an entry-level position for a Mechanical EIT available in our Phoenix office in support of mechanical engineering/design projects.

     

    Key Responsibilities

     

    • Primary focus for project work will be to support as drafter/designer the preparation of construction drawings for HVAC and plumbing systems for new and/or retrofit buildings
    • May support engineering efforts related to other engineering disciplines and business practices
    • Convey results and findings by means of oral discussions, graphic-based presentations, and project documentation

    Skills / Qualifications

    • BS in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant degree
    • Possess Engineer-in-Training certification, or scheduled to take the FE exam in 2018
    • 0-2 years of consulting experience, including engineering internships
    • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
    • Proficiency in MSOffice
    • Relevant experience using Autodesk AutoCAD® (Civil 3D, MEP and/or Revit)
    • Proven ability to read and understand both 2D and 3D drawings
    • Adhere to discipline-specific CAD standards
    • Must pass drug test, background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR) policy
