  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to join our team in San Diego, CA.


    Key Responsibilities


    • Assist with preparing/finalizing/mailing monthly invoicing
    • Support reporting requirements for invoice submittals and monthly status reports
    • Process payable invoices
    • Daily contact with employees, subcontractors, and vendors
    • Handle routine inquiries and information requests
    • Expense report entry
    • Review and verify project rates for monthly invoicing
    • Assist with procurement of goods and services (Purchase Orders)
    • Input contract information into the accounting system
    • Logistic arrangements (Travel/Meetings/Conferences)
    • General Office Tasks as Required
    • Type and proofread basic memoranda, reports, letters, charts, graphs and e-mail messages using word processing, spreadsheets and data management applications
    • Coordinate overnight mail deliveries
    • Assist with report production and distribution
    • Assist with formatting and compiling of reports into Adobe format
    • Check data tables with oversight
    • Maintain records and files in automated data base format
    • Order and maintain office supplies
    • Set-up conference / training rooms for meetings

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Must be a U.S. Citizen and capable of passing a background check
    • AS in Business, or other related discipline or
    • 2-5 years project controls/cost-schedule experience
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
    • Strong organizational abilities
    • Demonstrated consistency and attention to details
    • Aptitude to learn new processes and software applications
    • Technical aptitude with experience in data management (i.e. safeguarding sensitive data)
    • Must pass drug test, physical, background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR) policy
