  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Human Resources Administrator with generalist experience.


    Our People & Organization (P&O) manages all people activity, including compensation, benefits, mobility, employee relations, recruiting, talent development and information systems. Everything People (EP) is a one-stop P&O support center for employees and leaders that focuses on effective and efficient execution of end-to-end people processes for the Americas region.


    The senior human resources administrator serves as the first point of contact for members within the Everything People Support Center (EPSC) team. In addition to carrying out some of the HR Administrator duties, responsible for overseeing the general operation of the daily activities and data management of the team. Provides support to the P&O function and projects.

    Skills / Qualifications


    • Provide guidance, coaching, and training for Everything People generalist support center team members
    • Ensure support provided by team is of the highest quality in accordance with procedures, service level agreements, legal requirements, and data privacy standards
    • Engage with local stakeholders to ensure that the right level of service and expectations are delivered from the team
    • Develop partnerships across the P&O function to deliver value-added service to all levels of leadership and employees
    • Collaborate with P&O functional partners and managers to troubleshoot issues as they arise, identify a solution and implement timely and accurately
    • Guide investigations by troubleshooting complex situations to help drive resolution
    • Ensure compliance and completeness within systems for all transactions processed in a proactive manner
    • Maintain proper support team coverage obligations and support requirements by managing schedules
    • Responsible for coordinating executive hires and data transactions
    • Manage website content and documentations posted in various locations
    • Responsible for managing Wood’s new hire onboarding process and offboarding process including separation interviews conducted by team
    • Lead process improvement projects by identifying recurring issues, problematic trends, provide recommendations and when possible implementing changes in procedures and processes
    • Responsible for metric analyses and statistical reporting to evaluate KPI targets
    • Conduct team meetings on a weekly or as needed basis and deliver presentations when needed
    • Special projects as assigned



    • Bachelor’s Degree or proven commensurate work experience is required
    • Minimum 5 years HR Generalist experience required
    • Some management experience is preferred
    • Proven experience operating in a customer service environment strongly preferred
    • Proven experience in an HRIS system, preferably Oracle
    • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Knowledge in Visio and SharePoint is a plus
