    Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions currently has an opportunity available for a Principal Technical Expert –Industrial Water/Wastewater Engineer.

We are growing and have a career opportunity for a Principal Technical Expert –Industrial Water/Wastewater Engineer.to join our dynamic team. Houston, Texas is preferred location but other locations possible for candidates with right experience and capabilities.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Serve as a senior technical resource to develop high quality, safety focused, leading edge sustainable engineering solutions to our industrial clients for consulting, design and construction services focused around industrial water/stormwater/wastewater evaluation & process design, facilities planning, engineering, permitting & compliance, construction, operations, and general civil/industrial engineering services
    • Contribute to client business development activities in a doer/seller and technical sales capacity, including client development, SOW and proposal preparation, client-centric presentations, and support of business growth initiatives
    • Mentor staff and provide senior level quality review, quality assurance, and subject matter expertise on challenging and complex projects
    • Serve as an effective interface between client's project team and consulting team, conveying technical, schedule, and financial information in a timely and professional manner

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Master’s degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or closely related engineering discipline
    • Professional registration as PE or equivalent
    • Minimum of 20 years experience in industrial water solutions including studies through design and construction support or direct construction in the Oil and Gas, Power, Mining, Food and Beverage, and/or other manufacturing sectors
    • Strong working relationship with large multi-national clients
    • Adept at relationship building, team building, and conflict resolution
    • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and writing skills
    • Ability and willingness to travel (short domestic and international assignments)
    • Must pass drug test, background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR) policy
