  • Overview / Responsibilities

    • Ensure recruitment activities at all levels are performed in compliance with Wood’s recruitment strategy and Equal Employment Opportunity policy.
    • Partner with Hiring Managers to develop position functions and requirements; Provide ongoing status updates to relevant personnel for activities and progress of recruitment activities; Obtain feedback from Hiring Managers in an expedited timeframe.
    • Partner with Human Resources and other leadership to understand short and long-term organizational growth plans to develop and implement recruitment strategy and activities that support organizational goals.
    • Maintain ongoing database of connection and candidates; Source and cold call potential passive candidates.
    • Develop and post job openings; qualify potential applicant qualifications; perform initial phone screens; perform onsite interviews; facilitate onsite interviews with various personnel.
    • Provide honest feedback to candidates/applicants with integrity and in best practices for liability mitigation.
    • Prepare, coordinate, and participate in career fair initiatives; Maintain, improve, and administer social media recruitment strategy.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.     Skills / Qualifications

    Desired Skills and Experience

     

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
    • Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English and Spanish.
    • Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience.
    • Experience and ability utilizing an Applicant Tracking Systems.
    • Experience screening and interviewing candidates.
    • Basic knowledge of foundational recruitment strategy and execution.
    • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong organization skills and ability to work on multiple and varied position-types on an ongoing basis.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
    • Exposure to Microsoft Access.
    • Positive attitude and drive to succeed.
    • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
    • Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience in the construction industry
