  • Overview / Responsibilities

    We are currently sourcing a Buyer to join our team in Bay City.


    3-10 years experience in a buyer or procurement roll


    The successful candidate will be required to have experience with SAP.


    Minimum of 3 years previous experience of working within Procurement preferably within the Oil & Gas Petrochemical plant

    Be able to work under pressure and to deadlines

    • Follows company’s established sourcing process to obtain materials/services
    • Expedites delivery of materials and services
    • Delivers measurable costs savings/reductions to contribute to corporate goals. 
    • Executes assignments as given by Director – North America Procurement or Commodity Manager
    • Oversees local warehouse operations to ensure proper stocking levels are set and reorder process is operating correctly.

    Skills / Qualifications

    Candidates must be commercially aware, with effective negotiating and coordinating skills

    Possess good written and verbal communication skills

    Be able to work as part of team as well as individually when required

    Strong negociation skills

    strong problem solving skills


    This position will report directly to the client site manager
