  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions Inc. is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team located in Kennesaw, GA. We are looking for an individual to provide administrative and project coordinating support for the structural and telecommunication departments. The Project Coordinator will assist both departments in performing tasks to support business development and project work.

     

    Key Responsibilities

     

    • Type and proofread memoranda, reports, letters, charts, graphs and e-mail messages using word processing, spreadsheet and data management applications
    • Set up systems for maintaining records and files in hard copy and / or automated data base format
    • Project Tracking and Control- Compile and accurately track financial information on a task level for review by project management to effectively and profitably manage projects
    • Coordinate and manage project schedule database, daily updates and reports as required for both departments
    • Contract Administration- Provide support for the Project Manager in accurate documentation and distribution of intermediate contractual obligations, report preparation, special reports, deliverables, and out-of-scope requests
    • Set up projects in BST (accounting system)
    • Coordinate and execute project budgets, project scheduling, Purchase Order’s (PO) requests, maintain records and provide reports consistent with company and/or client standards
    • Track Indian Tribe payments and facilitate coordination with project package submittals to Indian Tribes, and coordinate payments and Indian Tribe responses
    • Perform soil Resistivity Testing when requested
    • Perform Tower Audits by taking and logging antenna photos
    • Assist with telecom site walks by collecting and logging data
    • Utilize project management and project database software to track status of development projects, document/deliverables receipt, and acceptance
    • Participate in multiple project development calls and meetings to discuss project schedules and adjust forecast timelines per management direction
    • Assist others as needed

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Four-year degree
    • Experience with client relations
    • Ability to operate office equipment and applicable computer software applications
    • Highly proficient with word processing and spreadsheet software packages
    • Flexibility to work outside normal business hours as required
    • Knowledge of company policies, practices, organizational structure, and office procedures
    • Ability to work under pressure or deadlines and handle multiple priorities in a fast-pace environment
    • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in an appropriate manner
    • Professional appearance and courteous manner
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and written skills
    • Attention to detail
    • Ability to travel and perform limited site work
