Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions is seeking an Engineer to join our St. Louis Infrastructure department team. This position will perform a broad range of planning and design tasks for stand-alone water, wastewater, stormwater and general infrastructure projects, as well as civil design tasks associated with support of other multi-discipline projects. Duties will include the development of plans, construction drawings, specifications, design computations, reports and construction documents. The position will be technically involved in detailed design work, coordination of civil and non-civil designs on multi-discipline projects, coordination with utilities and municipalities, as well as resolution of design issues that may include performing field investigations. Qualities of a successful candidate include: strong design experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D; strong working knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS; strong knowledge of drafting and design techniques; experience developing construction drawings; experience developing construction specifications; 5-10 years of relevant engineering experience; strong communication skills (in person, on the phone, & written correspondence); and the desire to design diverse projects. The position will provide the opportunity to design with the support of several licensed professional engineer peers.
