  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions is currently seeking an Intern for our Tampa Water Resources Department. The successful candidate will assist project managers, engineers, and scientists with a wide array of tasks.

     

    Key Responsibilities

     

    Responsibilities for this position include conducting field investigations, performing basic engineering calculations, hydrologic and hydraulic computer modeling, assisting in analysis and design studies, developing software applications, provide technical support to project teams, and producing written and oral reports under supervision of technical professionals.

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Currently pursuing a BS or MS degree in engineering or computer science
    • Ability and willingness to learn new skills
    • Capacity to work on multiple projects simultaneously
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Willingness to work as part of a team
