    Wood’s Heavy Civil Construction division has been an industry leader in heavy/civil construction. Headquartered in Hermiston, OR, Wood's Heavy Civil Construction specializes in heavy/civil construction and energy services including: large earthwork projects, concrete, pre-engineered metal buildings, site preparation, underground utilities, reclamation, pond construction, compressor/pump stations, gas processing facilities, WWT plants, tilt-up structures, sub stations, mass pours, slab on grade, and metal building supply and erection.  Handling the project from first estimate all the way through subcontracts being formalized.

    We are seeking a motivated and talented individual as an Construction Project Manager to join our Team in Hermiston, OR. 


    • Drive operations to deliver projects safe, right, and fast
    • Read and interpret established scope of workPlan specifications to ensure complete understanding of all project requirements
    • Develop project plans, phases and schedules-Communicate plan and schedule changes, alternate work assignments, change orders and scope revisions to the project team
    • Serve as a leader to build and develop a strong team to support and sustain profitable growth and provide opportunities for personal and professional growth for our team
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors to increase profitable and sustainable growth
    • Accurately project cost to complete based on intimate job knowledge and experience to eliminate financial surprises, effectively manage the project and provide accurate costing feedback to estimating
    • Offer our customers new and innovative solutions to ensure quality, reduce risk, and provide the lowest total cost
    • Manage Subcontractors and Vendors to surpass customer expectations, minimize risk, and lower cost
    • Oversee administrative deliverables to minimize risk and allow for timely and accurate decisions
    • Experience with Pro Contractor and Viewpoint software is desired, but not required



    Skills / Qualifications

    • 5 + years of prior experience managing multiple job sites
    • Ability to travel to job sites as needed
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Experience with Pro Contractor and Viewpoint software is desired, but not required
    • Ability to pass a post-offer physical, drug screen and background check
