  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions is currently seeking a Dozer/Equipment Operator for a 5-month assignment at the Central Treatment Plant project in Kellogg, Idaho. We are seeking candidates local to the Kellogg, Idaho area but may consider candidates outside the local area.


    Key Responsibilities


    • Maintain Dozer/Earthmoving equipment and do daily inspections
    • Operate dozer for grading and soil bentonite backfill mixing
    • Able to help out with other positions as needed (truck driver, excavator, compactor, forklift, etc.)
    • Take part and participate in our safety program
    • Keep onsite mechanic up to date on needed repairs of equipment

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Minimum 2 years of experience operating a bulldozer with horsepower of 200 or greater
    • Excavator and multiple equipment operation experience preferred
    • Currently certified or have ability to complete Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) worker qualification, and pass a HAZWOPER/respirator user medical exam
    • Experience in working around Hazardous Material handling and Health & Safety regulations
    • Wide range of skills or trades including multiple equipment operation, grading, compaction, drainage, slopes and grade control
    • Perform daily safety and maintenance checks, cleaning, fueling and greasing
    • Operate Dozer/equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, company policies and procedures
    • Able to support an 11 hour, 7-day a week operation and able to work night shift, if required
    • If local hire, must provide own transportation to and from work
    • Must be a US Citizen and have a valid driver's license
    • Must pass drug test, physical, background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR) policy
