  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions is looking for motivated individuals interested in working for a company with opportunities in hydrogeology and related fields.


    Key Responsibilities


    • Field work including drilling and well construction oversight, soil sampling and logging, groundwater monitoring, soil gas sampling, and aquifer testing
    • Geologic, hydrogeologic, and geochemical data analysis and interpretation
    • Numerical modeling and other analyses
    • Preparation of technical reports, including technical writing and development of tables and figures

    Skills / Qualifications

    • BS/MS in geology, hydrogeology, engineering geology, civil engineering, or related field
    • 0 to 2 years of experience including field sampling and data collection
    • Strong analytical, technical writing, organization, and communication skills
    • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
    • Willing to travel locally and out of the area as necessary
    • Valid driver's license and an insurable driving record
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Access and ESRI ArcGIS software to manage and visualize data preferred
    • Familiarity with development, calibration, and application of groundwater models preferred
    • Familiarity with conducting and interpreting aquifer tests preferred
    • Must pass drug test, background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR) policy
