Overview / Responsibilities

Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions is seeking a Senior Level Planning and Encroachment Specialist to join our Atlanta, GA office. The position will provide support to various military installation locations.

 

MILITARY INSTALLATION COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING TECHNICAL REPRESENTATIVE

 

We are currently seeking a fulltime technical support representative for comprehensive planning and encroachment management activities in support of US DoD military installations (CONUS).

 

Key Responsibilities

 

The support representative will be responsible for providing gap analysis, guidance and assistance to the broader planning team to address needs such as updates to Installation Development Plans, updates to ICEMAPs, Area Development Plans, airfield obstruction waivers, and similar installation comprehensive planning functions.

Skills / Qualifications

Applicants are required to perform minimal background checks or investigations to include but not limited to those required to support CAC and introduction / entry / visitor request letters. National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) will be conducted to support the issuance of a CAC. A favorable determination from a NACI investigation and a complete FBI finger print check is sufficient for the procurement of a CAC card to support the mission.

 

Position requires AICP certification, Minimum 5-years GIS experience, minimum 10 years community/military planning experience, and minimum 5-years military installation master planning experience (preference for USAF experience).
