    Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions has a career opportunity for an experienced Proposal Coordinator to support our Phoenix office. This individual will support our team of engineers and scientists in the preparation of wining qualification and proposal submittals.  Friendly, flexible, and positive work environment.  Seeking a professional that seeks challenging work and the opportunity to make a difference.


    The ideal candidate will coordinate, develop and produce proposals, statements of qualifications (SOQs) and presentations. This position requires a candidate with effective time-management, written communication, planning, organization and interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to take initiative, work independently and coordinate efforts with multi-discipline teams. The Proposal Coordinator must possess excellent attention to detail and have the ability to produce high quality work under short time constraints.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist and/or lead with the coordination, development and production of proposals, SOQs and presentations, ensuring the highest quality of information and documentation output
    • Participate in all aspects of proposal deliverables including the development and updating of standard materials (project job descriptions, resumes), writing, graphics, document editing, content review, printing and final document assembly
    • Assist with resume/project description updates
    • Assist with research and additional department duties as needed

    Skills / Qualifications


    • 6 years + of relevant A&E consulting industry experience
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, English, Communication, or Journalism preferred
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office product suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office templates and the use of styles in files
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills including a professional and friendly demeanor
    • Excellent organizational skills and a strong commitment to customer service
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in an environment with pressing deadlines
    • Ability to have a flexible schedule and willing to adjust hours to meet client and business needs
    • Must pass drug screen and background check.


    • Previous proposal experience related to the engineering or construction industry
    • Previous experience with proofreading and/or editing written materials
    • Knowledge of, and/or proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Acrobat/PDF manipulation
    • Relevant training a plus
