Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our team in St. Louis, MO (Ballwin). Types of assignments include design, detailing and specifying bridges, culverts, retaining walls, water control structures and other miscellaneous structures on infrastructure, transportation, environmental, geotechnical, site development and other types of improvements projects. Candidates should have experience designing structures using applicable codes (AASHTO, ASCE-7, IBC), as well as material design codes (AISC, ACI, etc.). Other responsibilities include preparing proposals, performing structure inspections, bridge inspections, investigations, studies, conceptual designs, cost estimates and minor construction observation. Applicable experience for local municipalities, MoDOT, IDOT, MSD or similar is desirable. The position represents an excellent opportunity for growth into a project management and business development role.
