Amec Foster Wheeler Environment & Infrastructure, Inc. seeks a Technical Professional 3 – Environmental Engineer to work in San Diego, CA, to provide technical support to Environmental Restoration and Environmental Compliance projects. Duties include: (i) preparing planning documents; (ii) supporting proposal work; (iii) evaluating and interpreting environmental data; (iv) remedial design (vi) report writing; and (v) providing geologic and engineering support to multiple project teams.
Must have a master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Environmental Engineering plus two (2) years of experience in a related position with federal government restoration programs.
Must also have any experience with: (i) oversee field activities including sampling and site audits; (ii) designing in-situ treatment methods for various groundwater contaminants; (iii) using contaminant fate and transport models MT3DMS and REMChlor to perform calculations for complex sites; (iv) prepare compliance, investigation, and engineering reports including work plans, health and safety plans, and moderate to complex technical reports; and (v) ArcGIS and AutoCAD.
Must also hold/have California Civil PE as well as be able and willing to travel domestically to various locations up to 20%.
Must pass drug test, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record.
