Job Description

Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is seeking a full-time, experienced Marketing Coordinator to support our Phoenix office. The ideal candidate will coordinate, develop and produce proposals, statements of qualifications (SOQs) and presentations. This position requires a candidate with effective time-management, written communication, planning, organization and interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to take initiative, work independently and coordinate efforts with multi-discipline teams. The Marketing Coordinator must possess excellent attention to detail and have the ability to produce high-quality work under short time constraints.

 

Key Responsibilities

Below is a representative sample of duties, which are subject to change as needs and job requirements grow:

  • Assist with resume/project description updates
  • Assist and/or lead with the coordination, development, and production of proposals, SOQs and presentations, ensuring the highest quality of information and documentation output
  • Participate in all aspects of marketing deliverables including the development and updating of standard materials (project job descriptions, resumes), writing, graphics, document editing, content review, printing and final document assembly
  • Assist with research and additional department duties as needed

Skills / Qualifications

Required

  • Min. Experience: 3 Years
  • Min. Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, English, Communication, or Journalism recommended
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office product suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office templates and the use of styles in files
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including a professional and friendly demeanor
  • Regular and reliable attendance
  • Ability to have a flexible schedule and willing to adjust hours to meet client and business needs

Preferred         

  • Previous marketing experience related to the engineering or construction industry
  • Previous experience with proofreading and/or editing written materials
  • Knowledge of, and/or proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Acrobat/PDF manipulation
  • Flexible with work schedule and able to adjust to multiple and concurrent deadlines
  • Relevant training a plus
