Overview / Responsibilities

Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions is currently seeking a Contract Administrator to join our team in Blue Bell, PA. Manages contract activity for projects of small to moderate size and represents the Company in negotiations of non-complex contractual issues. Interacts with project management to assess projects, prepares pricing proposals, obtains appropriate approvals and reviews and submits proposals. Manages contractual formation and proposal preparation and submittal. Maintains contract records.


Specific Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze request for proposals, analyze contract risks, interpret terms and conditions, provide technical guidance on fulfillment issues, pricing schedule details and coordination of requirements
  • Manage proposal reviews/approvals in accordance with company policies and customer requirements
  • Prepare a variety of reports for distribution to the customer and management; advise management of contractual concerns, rights, and obligations; compile and analyze data; and maintain historical data
  • Work with management for timely resolution of issues
  • Respond to contract inquiries and resolve contract-related issues with assistance
  • Participate in meetings for internal and external representatives
  • Have frequent contact with internal personnel and outside customer representatives at various management levels concerning contractual and operational issues or scheduling of specific phases of proposals or contracts
  • Perform other responsibilities as may be appropriate

Skills / Qualifications

  • Four-year Bachelor degree in Business or a related field is preferred
  • Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations and other government regulations is preferred
  • Proposal preparation experience (i.e., reps and certifications, pricing volumes, etc.) is preferred
  • Three to five years’ experience in a contract related position is preferred
  • Must be able to promote teamwork and accountability when reviewing contract documents
  • Must be able to multi-task under pressure in a deadline driven environment
  • Must have strong attention to detail and excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Must be able to focus on key tasks, prioritize duties, and manage multiple priorities
  • Must possess strong analytical skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs
  • Excellent oral and written skills are required
