Job Description

Overview / Responsibilities

Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions is currently seeking Mid-level Environmental/NEPA Planners to support the FEMA Public Assistance Recovery Program on an on-call basis.

 

This is a fantastic experience to travel to new locations, meet new people, learn new things and help people recovery in their time of greatest need.

 

Will report to our Chantilly, VA office but work location will vary based on the project.

Skills / Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of experience in conducting environmental reviews of infrastructure projects in Region IX Extensive experience with NEPA compliance for the PA Program and other FEMA grant programs in Region IX, including coordination of reviews for compliance with NEPA and other environmental laws and regulations and preparation of Categorical Exclusions, Environmental Assessments (EAs), and other documents for NEPA compliance
  • Must be able and willing to travel to projects sites – 100% travel required
  • US citizenship required
  • Must pass FEMA background security check
