Job Description

Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently seeking a Turnover Coordinator to coordinate the assembly and tracking of certification dossiers related to Site Inspection and Testing Requirements. This position will be located on a field assignment project location in Rosemount, MN.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform the collection and organization of construction completion and testing documents in support of the Project Quality Program
  • Perform the collection and organizing of Start Up and Commissioning completion and testing documents
  • Provide initiation and management of the project punch list
  • Provide training to site personnel involved in the initiation and authentication of certifications to ensure conformity to project requirements
  • Maintain current and retrievable records as provided for contract documents and established procedures
  • Coordinate the assembly of Turnover documentation for requisition packages
  • Coordinate the assembly of Construction work packages
  • Coordinate the assembly of system walk down packages
  • Validate the System Component List. Engineering to assign each component contained within a turn over system
  • Assist in the development alphanumeric number and brief scope of each system, prior to the start of work
  • Compile the list of needed Certificates / Forms Matrix (which certificates to be assigned to each component of a system).
  • Coordinate with Engineering, QA, Materials Management, and Supervision as required to ensure that complete and accurate certifications in compliance with project requirements are generated, authenticated and processed
  • Assemble certifications dossiers in accordance with established contract procedures
  • Assist in the audit of project dossiers as required by Site QA Management
  • Assist in closeout of site subcontracts through verification that finalized certification dossiers pertinent to that scope of work are available
  • Assist in the organization of the mechanical completion and handover activities; attend regularly scheduled meetings of the mechanical completion and Commissioning Team to support System Completion and Handover Priorities
  • Produce reports from the Certification database
  • Advise the Turnover and Construction Managers of any breakdowns or irregularities in the certification and reporting systems
  • Generates reports from the Master Punch list by Turnover System Number of the remaining open items by craft and provide the reports to construction or commissioning and shown in the responsibility matrix
  • Incorporate documents from the module fabrication facilities into the final dossiers for client acceptance
  • Perform final preparation of the dossier and specifically document the transfer of project information from Wood to Client. Obtain receipt verification from duly authorized client representatives for all transfers of final dossiers whether phased or singular
  • Takes field assignments when necessary
  • Assist in cross-training
  • Fills in for other office positions, as needed
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management

Skills / Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of various software packages including Microsoft Office, Excel, and Access. Prefer experience working in Project Wise, Win PCS or other Document Management systems
  • College degree preferred with 3-5 years of related work experience
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk and sit. May require close vision work and occasional travel
