Job Description

Overview / Responsibilities

Wood Process & Energy is currently seeking a Solar Performance Operations Manager.

 

Key Responsibilities

Performance Monitoring of a fleet of Utility Scale Solar projects

  • Proficiency in PR and Capacity Guarantee of Solar Power Facilities
  • Energy Model Production Validation Testing using measured data
    • Must be proficient in PVSyst for this work
  • Ongoing reporting and trending of sites using multiple SCADA platforms
  • Must be able to identify site / equipment issues before they become large risk
  • Management and dispatch of individuals and resources for Eastern US fleet of sites including support of Construction sites

Operations and Process

  • O&M and Warranty process management from initiation to close
  • Develop Lean construction processes to support growth and improve on current construction process
  • Experience in project delivery and solving complex site issues
  • Construction Punchlist Support
  • Contract Management of sites under development and already constructed

Development Support

  • Research and Understand current standards in Solar Industry
  • Identify and support implementation of improvements in company competitiveness
  • Identify and support development in global growth markets

Skills / Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years experience in Operations of Solar Facilities
  • Proficiency in PVSyst, Office Suite
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in Solar PV System Analysis
  • Strong connections in the PV industry
  • Strong Cultural Safety Values
  • Experience managing outage and warranty claims
  • Experience managing and encouraging growth of employees that primarily work in the field environment
