Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions is currently seeking a Resident Engineer / Project Engineer to join one of our three Michigan office locations in Lansing, Novi, and / or Traverse City. In general, the Resident Engineer / Project Engineer (RE / PE) will be responsible for overall field management of the contract, administration, and coordination on mid to large size transportation construction projects of a diverse and complex nature. The RE / PE monitors activities of assigned staff for conformance with contractual requirements; provides technical leadership for complex or unique assignments; reviews drawings, specifications, and constructability of items of work and may recommend changes to design; represents projects at meetings and conferences; and maintains constant coordination and communication with client, contractor, and consultant staff.
